Help us celebrate our Hesketh Bank Strawberries with our Strawberries and Steam Gala, featuring the South Ribble Concert Band. Two heritage steam locomotives are in service, with frequent trains every 30 minutes. Tickets valid for travel all day.

This Sunday, June 14th, come and celebrate Hesketh Bank's locally grown Strawberries, together with a short heritage narrow-gauge steam train ride. Two heritage steam engines in service*.

Trains depart from 11.15 to 4.30pm, trains depart every 30 minutes. Your tickets are valid for travel ALL DAY.

The afternoon will also feature two performances with the fantastic South Ribble Concert Band. 2pm & 3 pm.

Our tearoom will be open alongside the Fireman's shovel hot-food railway van. Try some delicious Strawberry teas, Prosecco and strawberries, cakes, and bottled beers.

We are in Steam today with Montalban. Built in 1913 for a Spanish coal mine and lovingly restored in Hesketh Bank.

Day thee of the Bagnall bank holiday weekend in conjunction with our partner railways at the Amerton Railway and The Apedale Valley Light Railway, both located in Staffordshire.

Sybil our Bagnall built in 1906 will be in service today from 11:15 to 16:30 with frequent short steam train rides. Standard Tickets available from our shop today. Adults £5, children £4, Family £15 and senior £4.50. Travel all day on your ticket.

Bagnall Bank Holiday Weekend - Day two.

In conjunction with our partnership railways the Amerton Railway and the Apedale Valley Light Railway, we have our Bagnall locomotive Sybil in steam today. Built in 1906 for the Dinorwic Slate Quarry in North Wales where she ran until 1964. Fully restored at Heaketh Bank , she has a well earned retirement working our trains.

Trains run today from 11:15 to 4:30. Tickets are valid for travel all day. Adults £5, children £4. Family £15 and seniors £4.50.

Our tearoom is open serving delicious teas, coffee and cakes. Try one of our fabulous scones.

Wood train sets out for the younger enthusiasts.
