A very special shoutout to Jay Cooper, who popped in to see us yesterday and presented an incredible £468 donation to Heartbeat! 👏❤️

Jay took on the amazing challenge of abseiling down the NatWest building in Spinningfields, Manchester as part of the NatWest 2026 Baton Relay Event, all in support of Heartbeat.

Jay presented his fantastic fundraising total to Sally and Maria, and we couldn't be more grateful for his incredible efforts.

Thank you so much, Jay, for choosing Heartbeat and for going above and beyond to support our charity! ❤️

🌟 Welcome to the Team Maria! 🌟

We’re thrilled to introduce Maria, our newest member of the fundraising team, who has joined Heartbeat this week!

Maria joins us as a permanent member of staff after previously working as a teaching assistant at a local school. She’s always been passionate about fundraising for causes that are close to her heart, so we’re delighted she’s bringing that enthusiasm to Heartbeat! ❤️

Maria is looking forward to getting stuck into her new role, meeting our amazing supporters and helping us raise vital funds to support Heartbeat and our members. We’re very excited to have her as part of the team! 👏🏻

🏃‍♀️Aimee completes the Scottish Half Marathon! 🏃‍♀️

A huge well done to Aimee Murphy, who completed the Scottish Half Marathon on Sunday 16th August, all in aid of Heartbeat! 🏃‍♀️❤️

And what an incredible achievement it was! Aimee crossed the finish line in an amazing 2:14:23 — more than 30 minutes quicker than her first half marathon last year! 👏

Aimee said:
"I definitely gave it my all and it was very emotional at the end! So pleased to have raised over £700 for Heartbeat."

We are incredibly grateful to Aimee for taking on this challenge and raising such a fantastic amount for Heartbeat. Her reason for fundraising was especially close to home, with her mum attending Heartbeat while living with heart failure and awaiting surgery.

Over £700 raised is an amazing achievement, Aimee — thank you! ❤️
