🌸 What’s happening at Our Lady’s & St Edward’s this week? 🌸

We’re delighted to share our programme for the week commencing Monday 31st August.

❤️ Kerala Cultural Celebration
This week we had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful Kerala cultural celebration, bringing together lovely families with a fantastic sense of fun and community. Many of the adults who attended work for the NHS, so it was especially lovely to welcome them into our Centre and celebrate together. 💕

🎻 Fulwood Chamber Orchestra
Our very own Fulwood Chamber Orchestra will resume rehearsals at the Centre on Monday 7th September, from 1–3pm, and will continue to meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.

Why not pop along, enjoy the beautiful music and stay for a cuppa and a slice of cake? ☕🍰 Everyone is welcome!

🌿 Peace Garden Update
Work is continuing to make progress on our Peace Garden. 🌸 Take a look next time you’re in the area and watch as our beautiful garden takes shape.

There’s always something happening at our Centre, we look forward to welcoming you! 💚

👶🏻 Mother and Baby group with Bloom Preston South and Chorley 👶🏻

Did you know we have baby classes running in our centre every Thursday morning? The classes are split into two age groups, newborn classes and crawling to just walking! Sessions can be booked directly through Blooms website

We’re also excited to share that we’re starting to update our tables and chairs, with a target of 10 new tables and 60 new chairs this financial year.

And we’ve already made a start! 🎉

🌿 Parish News & Weekend Update 🌿

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers. During July, 26 people generously gave at least an hour of their time to support our parish community, we are so grateful for every one of you. 💙

We have just posted our programme for the week commencing Monday 3rd August

We’re also delighted to share that our Parish Lunch raised an incredible £430 towards church repairs, thank you to everyone who came along and supported it! 👏

And after the recent rain, our gardens are thriving… the apple trees are now full of fruit! 🍎🌳
