Yesterday evening, Tuesday, 28th July a bollard from the Wesham Community Centre car park was backed into by a charcoal coloured vehicle. This happened between 6.30 - 6.45 pm.
The bollard was ripped out of ground and rolled across the car park then was picked up by the driver and left at the entrance door of the Community Centre.
Please could the driver of the vehicle make contact or if anyone saw what happened please contact the community centre

Your Local Space for Events, Activities & Celebrations

Wesham Community Centre on Church Road (just off Garstang Road North) is an ideal venue for parties, celebrations, family gatherings, meetings, training sessions, exercise classes and community events. Our main hall is a bright, flexible space that can be tailored to suit a wide range of activities.

We’re proud to welcome a fantastic mix of groups, including Taekwondo, Judo, afternoon clubs, wood carving, dog club sessions and regular weekend parties.

Wesham Community Centre Tuesday Club is looking for a volunteer/s to run their Tuesday Club which is aimed at retired people who come out to have a chat and tea and biscuits. Games are played and then bingo is played at the end of the session. It is well attended and would be a shame if it did not continue as it offers people a chance to get together for a couple of hours. There are helpers at the moment but would need someone to take responsibility for taking the admission fee from people attending and organising payment of the hire of the hall fee each month.

Tuesday Club does not run through school holidays. It runs on a Tuesday afternoon from 1.30 this includes setting up time and finishes at approximately 3.45 pm.

We require someone to start from the first September session on the 8th Sept.

What an amazing night we had last Friday for the fundraising Fashion Show at Wesham Community Centre. It was a complete sell out and Room of Lytham presented all their latest range with plenty of opportunity to buy at the end. A great night was had by all.
