🌼🐣🐰Our units have been busy in the run‑up to Easter, working on badges, helping the community, and enjoying plenty of seasonal fun. 🌼🐣🐰

💛 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
2nd Rainhill Brownies completed their Charities badge by visiting The Hope Centre Food Bank in St Helens. They learned about the centre’s vital work and helped date and sort the generous donations they had collected.

5th Rainhill Brownies and 2nd & 5th Rainhill Rainbows have been gathering Easter eggs for the East Liverpool RDA Stables Easter Egg Hunt taking place in Rainhill on 4th April.

Two Guides from 4th Rainhill have been working hard on their Thrift badge, collecting and donating an impressive amount to a local charity shop.

4th Rainhill Guides enjoyed making delicious Easter cheesecakes inside Easter eggs to share with their families.

1st Rainhill Guides have been progressing through their Skills Builders and welcomed a new member to the unit.

Henley Park Trefoil Guild spent an evening at The Hope Centre too, putting together beautiful Moses baskets for new mums and their babies.

Brownies were thrilled by a visit from the White Rabbit at their Easter celebration.

Rainbows met Peter Rabbit, who had the very important job of judging their Easter Bonnet competition!

A huge well done to all the girls for their enthusiasm and kindness, and a heartfelt thank you to all our amazing Leaders for their continued dedication and volunteering. 💙

Fun and adventures don’t stop when you turn 18!

Henley Park Trefoil Guild brings together adult members — past and present — for friendship, new experiences, and plenty of laughter.

We meet monthly at Rainhill Guide House at 8pm, usually on a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, and sometimes out and about in the local area. Every gathering offers something different, with activities that appeal to a wide range of interests.

Recent meetings have included guest speakers, visits to local places of interest, craft sessions, gentle sports, and charity projects. We regularly support the Hope Centre in St Helens by collecting baby items, and we’re proud to help the East Liverpool RDA in Rainhill. And of course, no Trefoil meeting would be complete without food — from celebrating Chinese New Year in a local restaurant to sampling dishes from around the world during our sessions.

Everyone is welcome to join us for fun, friendship, and community support. You don’t need to have been part of Guiding before — just bring your enthusiasm.

At 4th Rainhill Guides recent Christmas party, members truly sparkled as they celebrated all their hard work completing Skills Builders, UMAs and Interest Badges 👏🏻

A huge well done to those who achieved their Guide Silver Award🥈and Ranger Bronze Award🥉and special congratulations to Isabelle on achieving her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award 🥾 - an amazing achievement! 🎉

At 1st Rainhill Guides Christmas celebration, during a fun evening of ten‑pin bowling, it was wonderful to enrol four new members into the unit 🙌🏻 A warm welcome to them all as they start their Guiding adventure! 😊

Guides are aged 10 to 15 years and meet on Wednesdays 7.30pm to 9pm and Thursdays 7.45pm to 9pm during term time.

December is an exciting month for our Brownie Units as they enjoy lots of Christmas activities 🎅🎄🎁

Everyone enjoyed the "Christmas is Coming" Activity Day - Christmas baking, lots of Christmas Crafts, singing and games.

Then a visit to Amberley Court Residential Home on Stoney Lane to entertain the residents with our Christmas songs, give them the cards we made with a small gift as well as chatting to everyone while doing some crafts.

The final meetings before the Christmas holidays we had Breakfast with Santa in Whittakers Garden Centre.

Lots of fun has also been had making volcanoes, milk Masterpieces and completing our new Crafts Interest badge.

Brownies are girls aged 7 to 10 years and meet on a Monday and Thursday from 6pm to 7.30pm during term time.

Adult members enjoyed an inspiring afternoon at Liverpool Hope University for the Girlguiding Merseyside Annual Review & Awards 2024/25 celebrating another incredible year 🎉

Congratulations to Gill who was awarded with her 5️⃣0️⃣ years service badge, Carol her 4️⃣0️⃣ years service badge and Rachel who received a special thanks for her work in her unit over the years 👏🏻
