Opening doors to new opportunities in construction 🔨

This week, Livv customers took part in a two-day CSCS course designed to help them get their foot in the door of the construction industry.

Participants completed training and worked towards gaining their CSCS qualification, a key requirement for many construction roles, bringing them one step closer to securing employment in the sector.

We're delighted that six participants successfully passed the CSCS course and are now on their way to finding employment within the construction industry. They will continue to receive support with their job search, helping them access opportunities and secure sustainable employment.

Supporting our community in partnership with Merseyside Youth Association Limited (MYA) Knowsley Detached Team 🤝

Yesterday we paid a visit to Our Place in Huyton to hand over lots of school uniform clothing that had been donated by colleagues at Livv 🫶 The fantastic MYA team were taking part in a fundraising event to raise money for Alder Hey Charity, who help the amazing Alder Hey deliver care to children across the Liverpool City Region every single day 💙

The team managed to complete their challenge of cycling 127 miles, the full length of the Liverpool Leeds Canal, a whole hour earlier than expected! They’ve also raised funds for a very worthy cause and taken lots of donations that will help families in the community. A massive well done to the MYA KDT team for their amazing efforts! 👏 👏 👏

If you need a school uniform for you child, then make sure you get down to Prescot Town Hall tomorrow to see what’s available 🙌

Our Designated School Holiday Recycle Shop will be open Wednesday 19th August 11am until 1.30pm at Prescot Town Council.

We have combined this with the Children's Winter Coat Recycling. This is just like 'vinted' 😉without the cost and if you care about protecting and preserving the environment this is the place to come!

Our Volunteers have given up lots of time and energy sorting all of the donations, fixing hems, sewing on buttons and washing/ironing to make your experience the best it can be.

This is the last of 3 sessions so please don't miss out as our volunteers are on holiday after Wednesday.

Anyone from any postcode can access our generic recycled school uniform items.

Working together to tackle antisocial behaviour 💙

Recently, the Livv Community Safety Team, Merseyside Police and Knowsley Council joined forces on Peplow Road, Kirkby, to engage with residents and address concerns around antisocial behaviour.

The team distributed information packs and carried out Living Well and Antisocial Behaviour surveys to better understand the issues affecting the local community. We will now analyse the feedback and continue working closely with our partner agencies to identify solutions and reduce incidents in the area.

On Saturday, our team headed down to Knowsley Pride at Court Hey Park in Huyton for a fantastic afternoon celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.

It was wonderful to see so many people coming together to embrace Pride, inclusivity, and acceptance. Events like this are a great reminder of the importance of creating communities where everyone feels seen, valued and supported.

We loved being out in the community, enjoying the sunshine and sharing such a positive and welcoming atmosphere with everyone who attended.

A huge thank you to One Knowsleyfor organising such a brilliant event. 🌈💜

🏡Our 2024/25 Tenant Satisfaction Measures Report is now available!

TSMs were introduced by the Regulator of Social Housing to help measure how well social housing landlords provide quality homes and services. They give us valuable insight into what we're doing well and where we need to improve – all based on feedback from our customers.

Our third annual TSM report shares how we're performing against the regulator's standards, what customers have told us about their experiences with Livv, and how we're using that feedback to shape and improve our services for the future.
