✨Our second Happy, Healthy, Connected Roadshow took place in Kirkby yesterday, giving Independent Living customers the chance to speak to us, connect with support services and meet local partners.

Alan from our Mental Health Team was there to provide advice and support on mental health, wellbeing, tackling social isolation and more.

🎣 FREE CHILDREN & FAMILY ANGLING SESSIONS – KIRKBY! 🎣

We’re excited to launch our Reel Connections – Children & Family Angling sessions at Mill Dam Park, Kirkby, funded by Livv Housing Group and delivered by Primal Mentality CIC.

These relaxed, small-group sessions are about much more than catching fish. We’ll use angling and the outdoors to help children learn new skills, build confidence, communicate, spend positive time with their family and enjoy being outdoors.

📍 Mill Dam Park, Kirkby
📅 Every Monday
⏰ 10:00am – 11:30am
👧🧒 Ages 7–13
🎟️ Completely FREE
🎣 All equipment, bait and resources provided
👥 Maximum 6 children per session

Our sessions are open to children and families, including:

🏠 Home-educated children
♾️ SEND inclusive – no diagnosis required
📚 Children on reduced or part-time school timetables
🌱 Children accessing alternative provision
💚 Children who may be struggling with school attendance or engagement
🎣 Complete beginners are very welcome!

A parent, guardian or carer must remain at the session, and we encourage you to get involved and enjoy the experience together.

⚠️ BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL

With only 6 children’s places available each Monday, you must reserve your place before attending. You do not need to commit to every week – simply book the sessions that work for your family.

Come along, learn to fish, enjoy the outdoors and make some positive memories together. 🎣🌿

Being active is a huge part of what we do, but Mamafit is about so much more than exercise. It’s about getting out of the house, meeting other mums, having a chat, making friends and feeling part of a community. 💕

And tomorrow we’re launching our BRAND NEW FREE Mamafit Meet-Up in Prescot thanks to funding from Livv Housing Group!

We were delighted to be a part of the brilliant Raise Up Social Mobility Summit at BOXPARK Liverpool yesterday, a one day event connecting young people with 100s of employers, together under one roof 🤝

It was wonderful to have the opportunity to talk to so many young people about working in housing as a sector and highlighting the different pathways they can take into an exciting career.

As well the chance to talk to potential employers, guests were treated to a series of fascinating panel talks and Q&A sessions with some of the most successful people from the city of Liverpool and beyond 🗣️

It was a truly inspiring day and we're grateful to have had the opportunity to showcase Livv to the future workforce.

From wellbeing and inclusion projects to activities that bring people together, these organisations will be delivering a wide range of opportunities for people of all ages across Knowsley💙
