We’ve had a lot of messages recently asking if the Light Show is on again this year so we thought it time we share our update here.
As many of you know, Ste’s light show began years ago as a project for his daughter. But what started as something just for her quickly became something for all of you.
Every year the light count went up, Stes ideas went bigger and the audience somehow grew more than the front could cope with. St Helens, you really showed up. 🥰
The light show has always been a labour of love. It takes months of planning, building, testing, fixing, re-fixing, climbing, rewiring the list goes on. But now we’ve made the really difficult decision to press pause on the light show. It hasn’t been an easy call, we know how much joy it brought to people and it genuinely means the world that so many of you loved it as much as we did, but this year, we want to focus on making memories with our children without one of us being up a ladder every weekend from September to December 🙈.
So, we want to wish you all a very early, heartfelt Merry Christmas. Thank you for every message, every visit, every carload of excited kids, every kind word, every honk and every moment you stood in the cold just to see Ste’s creations dance.
And who knows, maybe one day the lights will return. You never know with Ste, he can only sit still for so long 🤣.
