Whiston & Huyton Scout Group The home of the Whiston & Huyton Scout Group. Running from the George Howard Centre, Lickers Lane in Whiston and also The Scout Hut on Blue Bell Lane in Huyton.

Mission statement

We believe that through adventure we challenge individuals so that they learn and experience new things that enrich their lives. The aim of the Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international c

ommunities. The method of achieving the Aim of the Association is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by adult leadership.

Joining List – Whiston & Huyton Scout Group

Do you have a girl or boy aged 4–18 interested in joining Scouting?
Or are you looking to volunteer and be part of something fun and rewarding?

Our sessions run from two locations:
📍 The George Howard Centre, Whiston
📍 The Scout Hut, Bluebell Lane, Huyton

At the minute we have a long waiting list for 4–10 year olds, so please get yourself on the list and we’ll contact you as soon as a place becomes available.

As we begin a new year, we want to say a huge thank you to all our amazing young people, volunteers and families who make Whiston & Huyton Scout Group such a fantastic place to be.

Now is the perfect time to get your child on our waiting list. We currently have good availability for young people aged 10+, with spaces available to start this month.

Scouting helps young people build confidence, learn new skills, make friends and have adventures — all while having fun!
