Today morning, members of Student Welfare Association Portsmouth (SWAP) joined Southsea Beachwatch for a community beach clean at Eastney Beach.

Southsea Beachwatch is a volunteer-led community group working to keep Southsea and Eastney beaches clean and reduce the impact of litter on our coastline. They organise regular beach cleans and welcome volunteers from the local community.

Starting at 10am, volunteers came together to give their time and energy to help keep our local coastline clean and beautiful. It was a lovely morning of volunteering, teamwork and community spirit โ€” and a great opportunity for SWAP to contribute to our local community.

We were also delighted to be joined by ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ ๐€๐ญ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ, who took part in the clean and shared his gratitude to everyone who volunteered. Chris has been a great supporter of SWAP, and we look forward to working closely with him on more community initiatives in the future.

A big thank you to Southsea Beachwatch for organising the event and for welcoming SWAP so warmly. They were also pleased to have SWAP join them and appreciated our volunteersโ€™ contribution.
