A remarkable achievement worth celebrating! 🏆

Congratulations to Megan McLoughlin on being named Australian Blind Person of the Year 2026 in Brisbane!

Megan has acknowledged the Blind Sports Foundation’s ongoing support and encouragement, recognising the important role it has played in her journey as a blind athlete.

Megan and her horse, Boss, head to Boneo Park in Victoria for the Australian Dressage Championships, where she will compete as the first blind dressage participant at this level in over 25 years.

Her journey is a powerful reminder of how opportunity, inclusion and the right support can help people challenge expectations and pursue their dreams.

We’re proud to be part of Megan’s journey and look forward to following her and Boss as they make history at Nationals. Best of luck to the team! 🐴

As both a leader and an active participant in Blind Tennis and Blind Cricket, Dragan brings invaluable lived experience to our mission. He has been instrumental in creating the annual Blind Sports Camp for kids and launching SA’s partially-sighted futsal league.

His dedication ensures blind and vision-impaired South Australians have every opportunity to participate, build confidence, and thrive through sport. 💙
