Widewell PFA is on a mission to get a new storage shed for school — and we need your help!

Do you, a family member or a friend own a local business, work in building supplies, or know someone who could help us source a shed or materials at a good price (or even donate)? Or maybe you could help us put it up? 🛠️🔨

A new shed will mean we can safely store all the equipment and resources we use to make school life extra special for our children — from summer fairs to outdoor learning activities. We want to be able to build up a stock of resources that we can reuse time and time again. Our current cupboard in the school is bursting at the seams!

If you think you or someone you know could lend a hand, please drop us a message or email us at [email protected]. Every offer of help, big or small, makes a huge difference!

We’d be most grateful if you could share this post too — you never know who might be able to help.

Thank you so much for your support — our amazing school community makes everything possible! 💙💛

💸 School holidays don’t have to cost a fortune…

I’ve put together 20 places where kids can eat FREE this summer 🍔🍕🥞

Save this now because you’ll definitely forget where they all are when everyone’s saying “I’m hungry!” 🙃

Tag another parent who needs this, and if you know any other kids eat free offers, drop them in the comments so we can help each other out! 👇

📌 Save this post for the summer holidays!

⭐️Thank you, thank you thank you to all the WPFA volunteers that put this event together, giving up their spare time, using work holiday, changing meetings and putting last minute bails of hay in the back of the car!

These events can not come together without this human element and it is REALLY appreaciated.

⭐️Thank you to all those that volunteered on the day to help throw paint or help with obstacle courses, we know you loved getting messy and joining in the fun - it wouldn't have happened without you!

⭐️Thank you to the Widewell Primary School staff that gave up their personal time to help support us and the children after school. Your help is always welcome and needed!

⭐️Thank you to Catered for cooking and supplying the hot dogs and chips!

⭐️Thank you to St John's Ambulance for being our first aid point and interacting with the children, you were very popular!

🌟And finally, thank you to all the children and families that came along to join in and raise money for the school! We look forward to announcing the winner of the sponsorship competition on Monday and organising the class pizza party! 🍕

Thank you for your incredible support at the Colour Fest today.

Since the event, we’ve been made aware of a product recall that potentially affects the Squeezy Dumplings. Whilst we await confirmation and advice from our supplier as to whether those sold are affected by the recall, we strongly recommend that if your children purchased one that these are removed immediately from play.

Please be assured we take these matters very seriously and have requested an urgent reply from our supplier.

We will issue further update and guidance in due course.

If you purchased a squeezy dumpling, please email [email protected] with your details.
