Thousands of men in England who have prostate cancer will be offered high-powered precision radiotherapy that will slash the number of treatment sessions they typically need from 20 to just five.

The South West’s radiotherapy centre hospitals, Derriford, the Royal Devon and Musgrove Park, will start offering the new treatment “within a matter of weeks” according to NHS England 👇

34 men in the UK will die from prostate cancer this Father's Day. And every day after that.

In the UK, a man dies from prostate cancer every 45 minutes - that's roughly 34 men a day. Together, we can help save lives by spreading awareness, empowering men and offering early-detection tests.

This year alone, we've already given over 500 men life-saving PSA tests. Dozens of men who didn't have any symptoms at all have been flagged to go to their GP for further tests. None of that would be possible without your support.

This Father's Day, we're asking you to consider giving less than the price of a pint each month to help us continue the fight against male cancers 👇

Can you help us out for a few hours on Father’s Day?

We still need a few more volunteers for our Plymouth Breakwater swim on the 21st June.
You don't have to get wet, but will help sign in swimmers, and hand out medals at the end.

It's a really uplifting way to spend a morning, and it's thanks to our fab volunteers that these events can go ahead.

If you'd like to come along and lend a hand, email David on [email protected]

Thank you 💙

Hormone treatment in a heatwave? We’ve got you🌞

If you’re having cancer treatment, this might involve some kind of hormone therapy. A really common side effect of hormone treatment is hot flushes, particularly for men on LHRH agonists or anti-androgens.

Here's a quick recipe for a cooling facial mist to help tackle heat quickly 👇
