THREE DAYS TO GO!
One of the stars of our Festival is Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest!
They will be there with tree activities on Wednesday 28th October -
The Community Forest is an amazing supporter of All Ways Apples, helping to make our Festivals happen and working together to enable Plymouth become greener and more diverse withso many tree planting projects. Love the fact that they have a tree nursery at Poole Farm so they can plant trees across the city from seeds they have harvested from local trees.
556,239 reasons to celebrate!
Thanks to partners, volunteer, communities and many organisations that have gotten involved, we’ve planted an incredible 556,239 trees together across South Devon since 2021.
That’s 190 schemes helping to grow the Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest — a collective achievement that we can all be proud of.
And the exciting news is that further funding has been secured to help us continue this work. Thanks to funding from DEFRA through the Trees for Climate programme, and our partnership with the England’s Community Forests network, we can continue growing our community and forest.
Working together with communities, farmers, landowners, schools and delivery partners, we’re expanding tree cover, supporting nature recovery and creating a lasting legacy for future generations.
So, what’s next? Let's see if we can make it to ONE MILLION!
