Here’s a more in-depth look at our coast-to-coast bike ride from Monday the 5th of October. We had an absolute blast helping to raise funds for by riding our bikes across the beautiful Devon landscape and checking in at almost every cafe we could find.

Two of us rode Ilfracombe to Plymouth, while three of us did the whole thing twice, riding there and back. We set a target of £500 absolutely smashed it by raising £905, so a huge thank you to everyone who sponsored us.

It was a great reminder of what a small team can do, and we’d love to do it again. If there’s a local cause close to your heart you think we should support, let us know in the comments!

(Not including the 8 hour ride to Ilfracombe completed on top of the 87 miles back again completed by Robbie, AJ and Adrian) we had a fantastic time raising funds for last week. Another huge thank you to everyone that's supported us in this and helped us raise over £700 to support those facing homelessness across Devon.

This week in the shop we've got a few mountain bikes and hybrids refurbished and ready to go.

All our refurbished bikes come with a 30-day warranty and we welcome test rides at the shop any time between 9-5 Monday-Friday

We made it!

After a very long day in the saddle (especially for those who set off from Plymouth at 12am) we finally made it back to Smeaton's Tower at around 7.30 on Monday evening. So far, you guys have massively exceeded our expectations and we've raised a whopping £705 to support Path in the work that they do. We will be keeping the JustGiving page open for another couple of weeks while we finish arranging cash donations and adding up all the generous pledge, so there's still time left to donate and be a part of this incredible journey. We'd like to say a HUGE, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, whether it's through donations, words of encouragement, or simply spreading the word. We couldn't have done it without you!

Just a reminder to everybody that we are closed today for our coast-to-coast charity bike ride in aid of Path Devon

Just to let you all know that we will be closed all day on Monday 5th October, as our workshop staff will all be participating in the coast to coast bike ride to raise money for who do some incredible work around the county to support the homeless.

While the main section of this ride will be from Ilfracombe back to Plymouth, three of our staff will actually be heading off at midnight to ride from Plymouth-Ilfracombe and back again, meaning that they will be completing somewhere between 160-200 miles over the course of 18(ish) hours.

While we have now hit our £500 fundraising target, there is still time left to support us in raising as much as possible for this cause, to sponsor our ride just go to justgiving.com/page/pedalsforpath

We're looking for volunteers to help run our weekly Open Bike Workshop every Friday, from 1pm-4pm.

We'd love to hear from anyone with bike mechanic experience, whether that's professional shop time or just hours of tinkering with bikes at home. If you know your way around a derailleur and can troubleshoot on the fly, you're exactly who we need.

We're jumping on our bikes and cycling coast to coast from Ilfracombe to Plymouth, all in aid of Path Devon.
