Art Craft & Laughter We’re a community of makers & good-hearted souls who believe in the Power of Creativity as Therapy.

Based in Plymouth, we support adults who find life a little tough, whether that’s challenges with mental health, wellbeing, loneliness, or isolation. My name is Debbie and i'm absolutely obsessed with anything to do with art and craft....infact anything creative. My passion grew after a long time suffering with mental illness. Art was my therapy and still keeps my mind healthy to this day. Now I want to share my passion with you guys and run workshops based on skills YOU would like to learn. The choice is yours......

Let's create healthy minds together.

A RIGHT LOAD OF BO***ES! 🍒🩷

And all for a good cause!

We spent a fabulous morning upstairs at St Budeaux & Barne Barton Wellbeing Hub, painting bo***es on pebbles to help raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

Big ones, little ones, colourful ones, fancy ones... not a matching pair in sight! 😂

Plenty of creativity, lots of laughter and some rather fabulous works of art.

But behind all the cheekiness was something important. Coming together, raising awareness and supporting a cause that touches so many lives.

A huge thank you to Trev and everyone at the Wellbeing Hub for inviting us along, and to everyone who joined in.

Who knew a handful of pebbles could cause so much laughter? 🧡🩷

You shouldn't have to explain yourself over and over just to be believed.

You shouldn't have to reach breaking point before someone takes you seriously.

And you certainly shouldn't have to justify why something that seems easy to everyone else feels impossible to you.

Not every disability comes with a wheelchair, a walking stick or something the world can see.

Sometimes it's a mind that never switches off. A body that's constantly exhausted. Or a daily battle just to feel okay.

And do you know what?

You don't need to be falling apart in front of someone for your struggles to be real.

A little understanding costs absolutely nothing.

Judgement can cost someone far more than you'll ever know. 🧡

Some days, the smallest things feel like climbing a mountain.

Answering a phone call. Going to the supermarket. Walking into a room full of people. Even replying to a message.

Things that seem so simple to everyone else can take every ounce of courage you've got.

Sometimes you cancel plans because you've got nothing left to give.

Sometimes you sit in your car for ten minutes trying to find the strength to walk through the door.

And sometimes you push yourself through the whole day, only to get home and completely fall apart.

And the worst bit? Feeling guilty because you think you should be able to cope with something so ordinary.

But just because something is easy for someone else doesn't mean it has to be easy for you.

And just because you're managing doesn't mean it isn't bloody hard. 🧡

THREE SPACES!!!🎄

That's all we've got left for our Christmas Wreath Making workshop at The Waterfront!

Three hours of greenery, creativity, questionable decisions about where to stick that pine cone, and probably a lot more laughing than actual concentrating. 😂

You'll leave with a gorgeous wreath you've made yourself. And yes, we'll help you make it look fabulous!

📍 The Waterfront, Plymouth
📅 Thursday 3 December | 6–9pm

All materials, guidance and a complimentary drink included.

3 spaces. Once they're gone, they're gone.

just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.

Some people get up, get dressed, go to work, smile, laugh and have conversations.

And spend every bloody minute of it fighting a battle nobody else can see.

Anxiety doesn't always look like panic.

Depression doesn't always look like sadness.

And someone who seems to be coping isn't necessarily okay.

You don't have to look unwell to be struggling.

invisible doesn't mean insignificant. 🧡
