Job Vacancy - Social Prescribing Link Worker

Are you passionate about enabling personal wellbeing?

The Wolseley Trust is recruiting a social prescribing link worker to join our ‘Healthy Futures’ social prescribing team. Healthy Futures is delivered in partnership with Primary Care Networks and VCSE organisations across Plymouth.

Social prescribing enables the utilisation of community resources to meet needs unmet by traditional health service delivery models by developing relational networks between local services which enable health and wellbeing.

Working as a member of the Wolseley Trust Social Prescribing team and teams within Primary Care Networks, you will use the social prescribing model to help people find appropriate community and non-clinical solutions to their needs; to reduce their social isolation and improve their health and wellbeing.

🧸🧸🧸TEDDY BEAR APPEAL 🧸🧸🧸

This year, as part of our 2026 Christmas Campaign Wolseley Trust will be supporting Plymouth City Council’s ‘Teddy Bear Appeal’

With more than 540 children and young people currently in Plymouth's care, this appeal will hopefully enable every one of them to have the opportunity to receive a brand new bear of their own to provide comfort, reassurance and something to hold onto during a difficult and uncertain time.

We are delighted that The Jan Cutting Healthy Living Centre Wellbeing Hub will be an official collection point for teddy bear donations. All we ask is that all bears are brand new and that you give them a label with their own special name chosen by you, as a personal touch for the child or young person who receives it.

We are open to receive donations from Mon-Fri 8-5pm at The Jan Cutting Healthy Living Centre, Scott Business Park, Beacon Park, Plymouth. PL2 2PQ,

Join us at the Stonehouse Coffee Morning this Wednesday!

We're delighted to welcome Plymouth Energy Community to this month's Stonehouse Coffee Morning on Wednesday 4th November, 10am-12pm at Oxford House Creative Hub, Stonehouse.
With winter approaching, Plymouth Energy Community will be sharing practical winter warming hints and tips, as well as delivering a hands-on draught excluder workshop to help you stay warm and save money on your energy bills.

As always, there'll be:
