The Creative Community Table at The Talk Shop
Arts Workshops for all ages & abilities
Saturday 17th October 11am-5pm
Part of the Plymouth Art Weekender

The Creative Community Table is a Stonehouse Way project funded by POP+.

Comprising of arts workshops for adults, young people & children which popped up in parks and community venues over the Summer. We're running the last workshop for Plymouth Art Weekender alongside the exhibition Nature, Nostalgia and a sense of place, at The Talk Shop on Saturday 17th October 11-5pm only (**Friday 16th workshop is cancelled).

At the heart of each workshop is a large circular table covered in playful arts materials. Light-touch facilitation encourages permission, spontaneous participation and expression and invites intentional creative risk-taking and connection to emerge. We hope the workshop inspires people to pause, listen to one another, reflect & leave feeling lighter and more resourced.

Everyone is welcome and the Talk Shop is accessible, however the toilets are in another nearby building, including accessible facilities. Light snacks, hot and cold drinks are provided, thanks to the funding from POP+.

The trees at Patna Park are thirsty!

Looking after these trees now means they have the chance to grow tall and healthy, providing shade and cool spots for us in the future.

Any help to keep our beloved neighbourhood green spaces thriving would be greatly appreciated 💚

Want to help us out at the Union Street Party? 🥳

We’re looking for volunteers to join the Cliik Community stall on Saturday 20th September. We’ll be busy selling books, plants, and bric-a-brac, as well as running a tombola and children’s art activities.

It should be a great day of community spirit and a fun way to get involved with what we do.
