Members of Weekenders 2 greatly enjoyed lunch at The Treasury in Catherine Street this month. It was the first time that any of us had been there for a full meal, and we were pleased with our choices. A lovely venue, with pleasant and helpful young staff. We now think we'll have to go back for their cream teas - they looked delicious!

Weekenders started the weekend early to take advantage of the excellent weekday set menu at Dunya. Sea bass was enjoyed by several of the group, one vegetarian dish and two chicken shish completing the choices. Baclava was the most popular dessert.

The newly renamed Medium Walks group travelled to Dartington courtesy of the 1A and 80 buses. We had a lovely walk through beautiful Spring flowers and foliage, and it was really good to see how previously flooded areas were now green and flourishing. We walked the Public footpath to Totnes, arriving in good time for a picnic lunch in the park. We had bright sunshine, a little windy at times, but not as windy as Plymouth, fortunately!

Weekenders 2 visited Pier One on the Hoe on a lovely sunny day, giving us beautiful views across the Sound and West Hoe. The staff were young, very friendly and helpful; and there was a good choice of food from their new Summer menu.
