Muslim Council of Peterborough celebrates its

9th Annual City Education Awards!
On 8th October 2025
At Jack Hunt School

We were proud to honour 103 outstanding students from across Peterborough for their academic attainment and achievements representing Local Schools, Mosque Madrassahs, and non Mosque Madrassahs .

With over 300 participants, the event was a vibrant celebration of achievement, diversity, education, community spirit, and inspiration.
We are especially proud that this celebration brought together people from all ethnicities and faith groups a true reflection of Peterborough’s unity. 🤝
Together, we unite, connect, and strengthen bonds across our communities, showing that education and success belong to everyone.

Recognising our young people’s achievements not only celebrates their success today but also inspires them to aim higher tomorrow, building a stronger, more connected community for all. 🌠

As the holy month of Ramadan begins, the Muslim Council of Peterborough extends warm greetings to all members of our community. Ramadan is a time of reflection, compassion, and unity—a time to strengthen our faith, support one another, and spread kindness.

During this blessed month, let us not forget the less fortunate and the vulnerable in our society. Ramadan teaches us the values of generosity and care for those in need. We encourage everyone to come together in the spirit of giving, offering support to those who may be struggling, and spreading hope through acts of kindness and charity.

May this Ramadan bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to every home. Let us continue to stand together as a strong, diverse, and united community.

The Muslim Council of Peterborough (MCP) actively promotes awareness of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the community. Through specialised training sessions, collaborations with educational experts, and outreach initiatives, MCP equips madrassa teachers with the skills to provide inclusive education, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
