Call Directions Website

Peterborough Soup Kitchen is a local charity for homeless and disadvantaged people in the city. We serve between 35 and 60 clients each day.

We prepare soup, hot and cold drinks, a variety of sandwiches and hot food in our kitchen. These are taken by van to be served at the Brewery Tap car park, PE1 2AA. Our principle aim is to ensure that homeless and disadvantaged people in Peterborough get some substantial food and drinks each day, throughout the year, whatever the weather conditions. We have 28 teams of loyal and dedicated volunteers and up to 4 members in each team. We operate 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year; evenings Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. This is a substantial year round commitment.

- Prepare about 25,000 cups of soup each year
- Make about 50,000 sandwiches per year
- Make about 35,000 cups of coffee and about
7,000 cups of tea per year
