We’re honoured to have a tree at the Peterborough Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival this year. 💛✨

Families are invited to tie a ribbon on our tree in memory of a child of any age gone too soon — a gentle way to remember, reflect, and feel connected during the festive season.

If you’re visiting the festival, please feel welcome to add a ribbon and take a moment of remembrance. 🤍🎗️ Peterborough Cathedral

Here at BALM we love to create a space for remembrance and love.
We invite you to share the name of your beautiful child or baby in the comments below. Their name is a part of their story, and we would be honoured to remember it with you.
This is a space of love and support.

This Baby Loss Awareness Day, we want to remind you of our free bereaved parent packs that are free of charge. They are available to collect from Peterborough Cathedral and All Saints Church and contain self-guided craft and remembrance activities in memory of your baby gone too soon.
If you're not able to access these locations and would like to request one to be sent to you, please drop us a DM and we'll put one in the post.

Today, we pause together for the Wave of Light.

At 7pm this evening, families across the world will light a candle in remembrance of every baby and child who is no longer with us. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, whether your child was an infant or an adult — your grief matters, your story matters, and your child is never forgotten.

As part of Baby Loss Awareness Week, we stand with all those navigating life after the heartbreak of losing a child. You are not alone.

We also invite bereaved parents to join us at our monthly meet-up — held on the first Tuesday of every month — a gentle, supportive space to share, listen, and connect.

Tonight, we light our candle with love and remembrance. 💛🕯️

Do you know someone who has lost a baby or a child? No matter the age of the parents or child, we’re here to support them.

Whilst we, and other services are here, A Child Of Mine - Supporting Bereaved Parents have some tips on things YOU can do to support a bereaved parent.

Is there anything else you’d add to these lists?

Today is bereaved parents day and A Child Of Mine - Supporting Bereaved Parents are campaigning to spread the word to show bereaved families they are not alone and their children will never be forgotten.

Light a candle at 7pm this evening to remember all the children who lost their lives too soon.

Today is National Bereaved Parents Day and we need your help! 💜

We need to spread the word as far as we can to show bereaved families that they are not alone and their children will never be forgotten.

Please join us at 7pm to light a candle and remember all of the children who lost their lives too soon.

Post about the day on social media and make sure to tag us in your posts and use the hashtags

We thank you for all of your incredible, continued support. Let's make today even bigger than before!
