Away from Covid, the Zi Foundation is committed to offering a wide range of support to people. They have a 25 strong team of volunteers who are willing to offer both their time and personal expertise.

💚 7,000 hot meals and a shared commitment to our community!

We are proud to have achieved our 2026 goals at Zi Foundation, serving 7,000 hot meals to local people in need and supporting our community through mental health awareness events.

A special, heartfelt thank you to Gintare and Kaimas Restaurant, who have played such a big part in this achievement. Your generosity, kindness and continued support have helped us reach people who need it most. 🙏

What made it even more special was seeing some of our own local residents there. Moments like these remind us why community work matters so much — bringing people together, offering a little support, and simply taking the time to be there for one another.

A huge thank you to Gintarė for her generosity and to everyone involved in making today possible. Community is about people looking after people, and we are always proud to play our small part. ❤️

Another wonderful week of serving our community! ❤️

The Zi Foundation team continues to prepare and provide freshly cooked meals for St John’s Church in Peterborough. Over the years, our dedicated team has delivered thousands of meals to different areas, communities and organisations—supporting vulnerable people and bringing smiles to their faces.

💜 A Hot Meal, A Warm Welcome & A Caring Community

It was lovely to spend time at CityLinks Peterborough, helping to serve hot lunches and, most importantly, sharing a little kindness and conversation with everyone who came along.

A huge thank you to my dear friend Gintare Karin for Peterborough for organising today and for the care and effort she continually puts into supporting people in our community. 💜

Sometimes something as simple as a hot meal, a friendly face and knowing that somebody cares can make a real difference.
It was genuinely lovely to see you all today. Thank you for having us, and we look forward to being back again soon. ❤️

🌈💙 EVERY CHILD MATTERS – and every child belongs! 💙🌈

I am incredibly excited for this very special event for residents of the PE4 area, taking place this Saturday, 5th September, from 1pm–5pm at Gunthorpe & Paston Community Centre.

The event has been created with a particular focus on children with disabilities and additional needs, while warmly welcoming ALL children and families from our PE4 communities. ❤️

We have tried to think carefully about different children's needs, providing a quiet arts & crafts room, sensory room and visual communication symbols, alongside plenty of fun:

🌈 Sensory room
🏰 Bouncy castles
🎯 Games
🎨 Face painting & glitter tattoos
⚽ Football coach
🥋 Judo coach
🐥 Little chickens
🍴 Kaimas Restaurant Village on Wheels
🚻 Toilets & accessible toilets available on site
🍽️ FREE LUNCH FOR EVERY CHILD, including gluten-free and dairy-free options. Food and drinks will also be available for adults to purchase.

Organised by Zi Foundation, with the support of Pride in Place and Cambridgeshire Community Fund.
For us, inclusion isn't about creating a separate world for children with disabilities. It's about creating a community where every child can participate, feel comfortable, have fun and belong.
