Today is National Cancer Survivors Day (NCSD), an annual Celebration of Life honoring those with a history of cancer, bringing awareness to the continuous challenges faced by cancer survivors, and inspiring hope for the future. NCSD started in the U.S. and is celebrated annually in hundreds of communities nationwide, and now is celebrated around the world.

Relay For Life Peterborough welcomes anyone who has ever lived with cancer to register as a Survivor and join us on Saturday, 12th September. Survivors lead the festivities with a lap of honour, inspiring others with their incredible strength. Survivors can also join or start their own team.

Calling all Team Captains!

We are still open for teams to sign up - you need to get in early to make the most of fundraising over the summer. All proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK!

On the 12th September the Relay will take place, a whole day full of music, performances, food, activities - it's the perfect day out for the whole family!

Get a team together to take part in the day, and get creative with your fundraising! Our teams are hard at work already, and we'll be sharing their progress leading up to the event!

2026 Sign up is open!

Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising in the fight to beat cancer. Teams of friends, families and colleagues fundraise for research to save and improve lives, then unite as a community at an event to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’re making to beat it.

The event is focused around a relay where team members take turns completing an activity – whether that be laps of a track, walks through a park or some other challenge – to show that step by step, together we are beating cancer.
