Could you help make a difference?
Living with sight and hearing loss can be incredibly isolating. Many people find themselves feeling lonely, disconnected, and lacking the confidence to get out and about.
Our Telephone Befriending Service helps combat loneliness by connecting people with friendly volunteers who provide a regular weekly phone call and a listening ear. Sometimes, a simple chat can make a world of difference.
We're currently looking for compassionate volunteers to join our befriending team. If you enjoy talking to people and can spare a little time each week, we'd love to hear from you.
Perhaps you know someone who would make a great telephone befriender, or maybe you'd like to volunteer yourself.
To find out more, please contact our Community Involvement Coordinator, Sharyn Ritchie, on 01738 626969 or email [email protected].
