So in true Jess fashion, I forgot today was Tuesday and also forgot to advertise our Home Ed Group tomorrow 🤦🏼‍♀️

If your child is neurodivergent hasn’t gone back to school yet, you are welcome to book on too! We have been quieter during the summer holidays, so our spaces are open for any ND children and their families!

Tomorrow we’ve got a stay and play session at The Sunshine Hub! We will be making mini sensory bottles this week bottle 🌈

We have been quieter than usual at our Home Ed group, due to it being the summer holidays, so anyone is welcome to join us this week- it will just be a fun club for neurodivergent children 💛

Parents do have to stay, tea and coffee is provided. Lots of activities, crafts and games for all ages and abilities.

With the success of our Summer Club, I thought I would put the feelers out for a SEND Saturday Club ☀️

This would be run in a similar way to our Summer Club- capped numbers, high staff ratio, based at The Sunshine Hub and a drop off provision.

Is this something you would be interested in? We’d be able to take payments on the Virtual Wallet as well as regular card payments.

I will update soon with more info, how to book and some dates! 🥳☀️

Join us tomorrow at our Neurodivergent Home Ed club. As well as all of our other activities, we will be using acrylic paint pens to decorate plates and cups to take home 🎨

Come and chill out in our safe space and escape the busyness of the summer holiday season ☀️

Another awesome week at The Sunshine Hub! 2 days of Summer Club and our brilliant Home Ed Club too! ☀️
I just want to take a moment to thank all of the children who make the Hub such a vibrant and inspiring place. And also thankyou to all of the parents/carers who let me be a small part of their wonderful children’s lives, I truly have the best job in the world 🥰🌎

Our SEND Summer Club still has some spaces available on a few dates!

This is a drop off provision for up to 4 children, aged 5-14, with various dates available. We will be offering a variety of activities, all low-demand of course, ranging from messy play to crafts and cooking! 🎨🍳
We use a range of communication aids, including Widgit. Our staff are experienced with a variety of SEND and we would love to meet you!

To book please email us at [email protected]. We are set up on Virtual Wallet so those with Direct Payments can pay using their personal budget. Alternatively, we can process bookings through our website.

Please note- we are not wheelchair accessible and have a staircase at the entrance of The Sunshine Hub.

We had a couple of new faces join us at our SEND Summer Club this week! ☀️ We did lots of crafts and cooking. The jam tarts we made were definitely a hit, we had to make a second batch because the first ones were eaten so quickly 🫣😂 We did some icy sensory play, spent some time in the sensory room and played air-hockey! We’re so ready for Week 3! 💛

Another week, another group who loved building and trying out new layouts with our Fat Brain Toys AirToobz set! It might just be our most popular activity at our neurodivergent groups 🤩
It encourages teamwork between the children; it allows them to play in their own way without the pressure of talking; it also encourages cause and effect learning. I promise this is not an ad, I just love this toy 😂 unless Fat Brain Toys want to sponsor us… 😉
