This event is taking place The Courtenay Centre tomorrow

Don't forget, the tree and seed giveaway taking place on Saturday 7th February at The Courtenay Centre from 10.00am - 1.00pm.
Featuring plenty of free fun including:
🌳 Free Trees and Seeds from Newton Abbot Seed Library
🌳 Stalls from organisations including The Woodland Trust and Devon Wildlife Trust .
🌳 Representatives from local groups including Newton Abbot And District Co-operative Allotment Association, Action on Climate in Teignbridge and Teignbridge Wildlife Wardens.
🌳 Free arts and craft activities provided by The Base Youth Club
🌳 Meet the team from Stover Country Park and The Restoring Park Project.
🌳 The The Courtenay Centre Cafe will be open for the purchase of refreshments.
🌳 Weather permitting, you can explore the Courtenay Centre Community Garden.

We marked Ukrainian Independence Day in Newton Abbot at the end of August, in an event organised by Newton Abbot Community Interest Company.
Thanks to Newton Abbot Town Council for supporting this event with their staff, and to the Mayor Councillor Colin Parker for attending alongside the Town Cryer.

Don't forget this event taking place on Saturday. Join us in Newton Abbot as we reflect on current events and mark Ukrainian Independence Day in Newton Abbot Flag raising will take place at St Leonards Tower at 11.00am and will be attended by the Mayor Cllr Colin Parker.
All local Ukrainians are welcome at the lunch afterwards.
