A change of header tank for 273 today plus a start made changing the alternator belt on 415.

Also 4527 is undergoing an oil pipe conversion which is hope will cure periodic leaks of the original design.

Thanks to MP & CB for the overtime again.

Another long but rewarding day.

248: more seat frames painted; floorboards above fuel tank fitted; miscellaneous interior painting plus further attention to front platform.

415: washed externally and cab area cleaned + wheel nuts checked.

273: radiator flushed and new fan belts fitted plus road test and wheel nuts checked.

Also a bit of tidying and building maintenance.

The overtime Kings CB & MP were at it again yesterday.

248's upper saloon floor is now ready for lino once the saloon has been deep cleaned.

Also the back seat area has been cleaned up and painted.

Various souvenirs were unearthed including a cigarette packet, an empty pill bottle and a ticket from 248's days in Glasgow.

A mixture of jobs today.

1448 has had its standpipe replaced, the fuel lines have been blown through and replacement filters fitted as well as a leaking pipe renewed. Also the engine air intake set-up has been secured.

415's rear wheel rims have had a new coat of silver and all fluids have been checked.

248 has had replacement vents fitted to the upper saloon rear dome and a start has been made on making some fuel tank covers underneath the back seat.
