Today has seen a massive overhaul of our stores - a long overdue job and it's 95% completed 😊

Also, 248 has had all fluids checked and throttle adjusted plus the now completed lower saloon has been cleaned.

Aside from these activities the replacement front spring for 1448 (ex.412) has been prepared for when we get around to fitting it.

A mammoth working day with MP CB KB & LB.in attendance.

Wheel scotch holder fitted (CB).

Rubbish in both saloons removed (CB).

PAS pump pipe changed.
New Air filter fitted.
Leaking oil pressure switch changed.
Engine inspection plate gasket changed.
Tappets adjusted.
Throttle ball joint replaced.

1448: parts sourced from stores.

CB & MP (the overtime kings) have been working away again on 248 today.

More work on preparing upper saloon floor for new lino; this is almost ready.

Various jobs undertaken on engine including removal and cleaning of parts.

Compressor filter cleaned and new type pipe fitted.

Air filter cover cleaned and filter to change next time.

Well, there was a distinct lack of Ailsa action here this weekend. The answer? Make your own entertainment! The unique B55-20 is seen here after dropping us off in Dunfermline. It's running very well it must be said. Thanks to Richard and Iain for bringing it over.
