In early June Steven Spielberg's new UFO movie Disclosure Day releases worldwide. The movie is about a cybersecurity whistle-blower and a TV meteorologist who uncover a 79-year government coverup. They plan to broadcast irrefutable proof of alien contact to the world. It looks set to be one of the most high quality movies themed on the subject in recent years. To mark this occasion BUFOG is organising a group watch of the movie at Broad Street Cineworld in Birmingham on the afternoon of Saturday 13th June, followed by a meal at the Figure Of Eight Wetherspoons pub. We will meet in the foyer of the cinema at 3pm and will not be booking seats in advance. The official showing time is 3:15pm. With ads and trailers we expect it to end around 6:15pm, where we then head down Broad Street for food. Anyone welcome to come along, whether you are able to attend our monthly meetings or not.

On Thursday 5th March BUFOG is going to be heading to a galaxy far, far away with our first ever Star Wars themed evening! You've probably never associated the two, but researcher Colin Woolford will be coming to speak about the links with the famous franchise of movies and the UFO subject. Prepare to be amazed by interesting parallels between the plots of these movies and the UFO reality! BUFOG Meeting Entrance Fee Update: The venue we utilise in Oldbury for our monthly meetings has recently updated their pricing to fit more in line with other venues in the area. As Birmingham UFO Group is completely self-funded this unfortunately means that we will need to raise the entrance fees of our meetings to ensure we keep afloat. From next month onwards the entrance fee for lecture nights will be £7.50, and the entrance fee for screening/other nights will be £5.00. If you have previously attended our meetings, we hope that these new prices are still affordable. Look forward to seeing you there!

BUFOG FEBRUARY MEETING UPDATE: Unfortunately due to personal reasons Andy Russell is no longer going to be able to join us tomorrow night for his talk. Instead we will now be specially streaming the new UFO documentary The Age Of Disclosure. Featuring over thirty senior members of the government and military, the documentary provides some of the most compelling testimonial evidence ever for the reality of alien visitation. Free snacks will also be provided for all attendees. The rest of the evening will proceed as originally planned. There will be a disclosure themed raffle, and our Chairman will provide the usual UFO updates as well as details of a new contact case he is began investigating.

Unfortunately due to the heavy snowfall that occurred earlier this month we had to cancel the first planned meeting of 2026. However we're hoping lightning can't strike twice, and we should have better luck for our February meeting, set to take place on Thursday 5th February from 7:30pm. We will be joined for the first time by Andy Russell, a clinical psychotherapist who has got actively involved in a large London-based contact support group. He will be discussing some of the fascinating cases he has looked into as well as how they have shaped his views on the abduction phenomenon.
