Restore Northampton Re:store is a Northampton-based charity offering support in crisis with food banks, Growbaby, Wellness Café, parenting classes & more.

Re:store Northampton's projects range from crisis support, providing food and necessities to those suffering from unforeseen economic hardship, to longer term support work in the form of sharing skills and giving emotional and practical support. We aim to give a ‘hand-up’ rather than just a ‘hand-out’ and seek to give individuals the opportunities to move forward into greater independence. These s

kills include growing produce for consumption, managing money and cooking on a budget. All projects centre around ensuring those we are in contact with have their basic needs met.

☀️ One last summer get-together at Family Nest!
Last Wednesday we enjoyed our final Family Nest summer brunch, with lots of play, games, colourful crafts and creative activities for the children, and, of course, a free brunch for our families to enjoy together! 🥐🍓💛
It’s been wonderful staying connected with our Family Nest families throughout the summer and providing a welcoming space to play, chat, eat and spend time together. Now September is here and a new school year begins! 📚✏️ We hope all our children and families have a brilliant first week back, whether they’re returning to school, starting somewhere new or beginning a new chapter. 💛
We can’t wait to see what the new term brings!

Yesterday, a few of our long standing volunteers and Team Manager were honoured to represent Restore at an afternoon tea hosted by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire James Saunders Watson.
The afternoon tea was a celebration of being shortlisted for the Kings Award for Voluntary Service. It was a pleasure to meet representatives from other amazing charities across the county also.

There's something special about watching tiny seeds grow into fresh fruit and vegetables. Thanks to the care of our wonderful volunteers and everyone involved, we're already enjoying some fantastic harvests.

Today we're celebrating the incredible people who make Restore Northampton what it is. Whether you've volunteered your time, donated food, clothing or essentials, supported our fundraising, partnered with us through your workplace, prayed for our work, or simply encouraged us along the way, you are part of the Restore Northampton family.

Every food parcel packed, every Growbaby bundle prepared, every welcoming conversation over a cup of tea, every event, every donation and every act of kindness is only possible because of people like you. Thank you for helping us bring communities to life through love and compassion.
