Another great session at "The Forge' with Jono Reynolds CIC in collaboration with Lumina Arts Alliance Arts Alliance.

Today we got creative with clay, learning how to sculpt and build models under Jono's expert guidance. There was plenty of fun, creativity, and conversation throughout the session, and we also captured some fantastic photographs showcasing Jono's incredible costume design work.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us.
We'll be back at The Forge in two weeks' time on Thursday, and we can't wait to see you there!

Saturday 4th July 2026

We are delighted to launch a new portrait drawing class led by master artist and painter Marco Drillings. Charlie Burns.

This course focuses on the fundamentals of portrait drawing using pencil and charcoal, with an emphasis on observation, proportion, tone, and expression.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn directly from Marco in a supportive, structured environment.
All materials are provided.

Suitable for all levels of artist, including beginners

Today, Life Music Northants came to Lumina Arts Alliance Community Hub!

Here's a snippet of Mark Beaumont serenading everyone on the piano. We also had participants joining in with a sing-along, creating a wonderful atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and community spirit. It was a fantastic afternoon enjoyed by all.

Missing art? While we're closed, there's still plenty to see🖼️

We visited our old friend Jack Watto Art at the opening of his new exhibition at Lumina Arts Alliance at the weekend. A regular exhibitor at AEG, it's remarkable how his work has progressed and he's now embracing collage on huge canvasses.

We absolutely adored this one. "Inheritance" focusses on strong women, what they've achieved, and how they inspire the next generation of girls❤️

Head to Lumina to catch his show...but be quick, it's only on for ONE week. Last day is Saturday 13th.

And if you can't make it? Jack will have his own solo exhibition with us in 2027🎉

Looking Forward to seeing you on Saturday
6pm - 9pm

“The Brush Leads the Way” is a solo exhibition by one of the UK’s most exciting abstract expressionists. Jack Watto paints on a large scale, and the exhibition will include a selection of significant large-scale works for sale.

The exhibition will run until Saturday 13th June 2026.
