Next week’s VITAL meeting ‼️ about the Kettering Energy Park proposal is key for local people to attend 🙏
The Kettering Energy Park proposal, if it goes ahead, would eat up the green space the size of Burton Latimer. It’s warehousing greenwashed as something else and people are NOT aware.
Please come along - it’s just an hour with Q&A’s and it will affect all of us in Kettering if it goes ahead. Share with friends and family too. People deserve to know what is being proposed.

4 Billion Dead Procession

According to the Planetary Solvency Report by the Institute of Actuaries, 4 Billion deaths is now a distinct possibility this century due to climate breakdown.

This is an action to connect us with our inner morality and spread the word of this unspeakable truth. Please bring along a placard with the words '4 Billion Dead' written on it. We will bear witness to this and walk in slow, silent procession to Parliament Square where we will hear testimonials, have small-group discussions and some food.

The government has finally released a vital report by The Joint Intelligence Committee: Global Biodiversity Loss, Ecosystem Collapse and National Security
Still edited and redacted- Here's a few key points~
"a “realistic possibility” that the decline of forests and glacier-fed rivers would lead to “global competition for food” beginning in the 2030s."
"degradation of rainforests in the Congo and the drying up of rivers fed by the Himalayas could drive people to flee to Europe, leading to “more polarised and populist politics in the UK” and putting “additional pressure on already strained national infrastructure”.
[Reform voters- have a think about this- please]
"Forests in Canada and Russia might pass a tipping point by 2030, as might glaciers in the Himalayas that fed rivers on which two billion people depended, the report suggested."
"Intelligence chiefs warned that the decline of Himalayan rivers would “almost certainly escalate tensions” between China, India and Pakistan, potentially leading to nuclear war."
"Britain, which imports 40 per cent of its food, including a fifth of its animal feed from South America, would struggle to feed itself unless it made expensive investments in its supply chains, the authors said."
“This government is hiding the true danger of climate change from the people,” a source close to the development of the report claimed. “We need to have an honest conversation about the risks we face to our prosperity and how to mitigate them.”
A few months ago The Guardian stated a government report on the national security implications of climate breakdown was being suppressed. Many have been pressing government to release the report and now we've got it. However, this is an edited /redacted version that has been made public.

The Times revealed last October that the report was being suppressed.
the government tried to hide it amidst of the Greenland scandal. Now they have been forced to release it; But the Times has let it be known that the unredacted version has still not been made public!
