Kirsteen has been coming to our weekly Adults riding therapy session on Thursdays at Muirfield Riding Therapy (MRT) for many years now, she has a real passion for horse riding and especially loves therapy pony Charity.

She made this video of her own personal view of MRT, with the wonderful creative team at Garvald Edinburgh whose 'workshops craft change for people with disabilities and beautiful products everyone can enjoy.'

🎉Helena is RDA Participant of the Year! 🎉

This annual award recognises a participant who has demonstrated exceptional success, determination, and achievement in the past 12 months.

Winner – Helena Stewart (Muirfield Riding Therapy)

Helena is a truly inspiring participant whose courage, determination and love of horses have led to extraordinary achievements. Over the past year, Helena has progressed from learning to ride independently and mastering rising trot to becoming a Regional, National and Para Dressage Champion. Despite living with a rare genetic condition, autism, severe anxiety and complex health challenges, she approaches every lesson with determination, positivity and a smile that brightens the day of everyone around her. Helena’s remarkable accomplishments, both in and out of the arena, are a testament to her resilience and show just how much can be achieved through perseverance, confidence and a passion for riding.
