💙 WE DID IT! WE SMASHED OUR TARGET! 💙
Thanks to our amazing funders, fundraisers, donors and wider community, our 2026 Keep Our Doors Open campaign has raised an incredible £17,331.75 – surpassing our £15,000 target by £2,331.75! 🎉
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donated, raised funds, took part in events, shared our campaign or helped spread the word. Every single contribution has made a difference.
But this is about so much more than reaching a fundraising target.
Our support groups cost £15,000 a year to run, providing a place where people affected by acquired brain injury can connect with others who understand, rebuild confidence and feel less alone.
💙 They are somewhere to turn when life feels overwhelming.
💙 Somewhere to find friendship when others don't understand.
💙 Somewhere to feel accepted, share experiences and know you're not alone.
Without places like these, people affected by brain injury could face isolation and loneliness without knowing where to turn.
We believe nobody should be denied the chance to find connection and understanding because of their financial circumstances. That's why our support groups remain donation-only, with no fixed fee to attend.
Thanks to YOU, we have covered the full cost of our 2026 support groups, and the extra £2,331.75 will give us a fantastic head start towards funding them in 2027.
