We've had a lovely time here at Willow's over the past week, keeping busy with a little bit of this and a little bit of that! 😊

From enjoying a fun-filled game of bingo, to some very serious biscuit tasting (all in the name of research, of course! 🍪), getting out on wellness walks in the fresh air, and even sampling a little beer tasting along the way 🍻

Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the week so special. We're looking forward to seeing what adventures and activities the week ahead will bring!

🎶 What a wonderful morning 🎶

We were delighted to welcome Berkshire Chamber Music Festival this morning, who treated our residents to a beautiful clarinet performance. The lovely music filled the room and brought smiles to everyone's faces, with many of our residents enjoying a sing-along together.

A huge thank you to Poppy for joining us for such a special visit and creating such a joyful atmosphere for everyone. It was a truly lovely morning that was enjoyed by all❤️🎶

What a wonderful week we've had! 😊

To celebrate National Cheese Day, we enjoyed a fantastic cheese tasting session. It was a gouda opportunity to try some delicious varieties, and everyone had a brie-lliant time! Of course, we couldn't let the occasion pass without saying "cheese" for a photo! 🧀📸

We also had a lovely yoga chair dance session, enjoying movement, music and plenty of smiles🎶🧘‍♀️

Ted was delighted to dodge the raindrops💧 and enjoy a lovely morning walk, making the most of the fresh air and dry weather🌥🌲

A great week filled with fun activities, laughter and happy memories!

✨️A Wonderful Trip Down Memory Lane✨️

What a wonderful evening we had at Willow's yesterday! Sandra from Charmworth
Miniatures visited us and showcased an amazing collection of miniature outfits from the Swinging Sixties 👗📿

Everyone enjoyed reminiscing about the era, sharing memories, and admiring the beautifully crafted displays. It was a delightful trip down memory lane and a truly lovely session enjoyed by all. 😊

What a lovely week we’ve had! ☀️🌸

We enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Jubilee Sensory Garden in Thatcham, soaking up the beautiful surroundings and spring sunshine where we attended a fantastic garden party in support of Dementia Action Week, which was filled with smiles, laughter, and great company. 💙

To top it all off, everyone had great fun joining in with our yoga chair dance session — lots of movement, music, and happy faces all around! 🧘‍♀️

🎳 Strike Up Some Fun in Basingstoke! 🎳

What a fantastic morning we had bowling in Basingstoke! There were plenty of strikes, lots of laughs, and a few residents and staff who really bowled us over with their skills! 😄

It’s safe to say we’ve got some real pin-crushing professionals amongst us although a few gutter balls kept us humble too! 😂

A wonderful time was had by all, full of smiles, teamwork, and friendly competition. We can’t wait for the next outing! 🎉

🌿 Walks, Wildlife & Wet Surprises! 🐶💦

This week we’ve been enjoying some lovely sunny walks with the residents, making the most of the beautiful weather. 🌼☀️
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the fresh air, beautiful scenery, and a spot of wildlife watching along the way. 🦆🌿

Joan, however, got a little more excitement than expected when a paddling pooch launched himself out of the water and gave himself a full-body shake… directly at her! 😂🐕🚿
Safe to say Joan got the complimentary deluxe dog-wash treatment — completely free of charge 🤣

🌿 A Lovely Morning at Willow’s Edge 🌿

Today we took a few of our residents out for a wonderful Toby Carvery breakfast, and it was truly egg-cellent! 🍳

There were plenty of smiles, warm drinks, and great conversation shared around the table. Outings like these are such a special way to enjoy time together and create meaningful moments.

We’re already looking forward to our next trip! ☕
