This weekend, on of our amazing Trustees, Jonathan Hopson will be taking part in Chase the Sun Italia - a stunning coast to coast 280 kilometre cycle event across Italy, passing through Florence.

Jonathan is riding in support of West Berkshire Dementia Hub!

The ‘most romantic long-distance cycling challenge’, climbing mountains, through vineyards and vistas and 3300m elevation. Bellissimo!

Our mission - can you help?

The number of people in this area estimated to be living with dementia is projected to increase by 50% between 2025 and 2030.

To help meet this challenge, our aim is to create a purpose-designed dementia centre in the heart of our community, a focus for the NHS and the voluntary sector, enabling people with dementia to live as well as possible and providing better help and support to their family carers.

To make this vision a reality, philanthropic development charity Greenham Trust has undertaken to build a purpose-designed dementia centre - at a cost of £4 million. WBDH will manage the delivery of services within the building and needs separately to raise £0.75 million.
