Help your loved ones recover faster – please don’t visit if you’re unwell
We know how hard it is to be away from someone you care about when they’re in hospital. Wanting to visit and offer comfort comes from a good place – but if you’re feeling unwell, the kindest thing you can do is stay at home until you’re better.
When someone is in hospital, their immune system may already be weakened. Even mild symptoms can pass on infections that slow recovery and put vulnerable patients at risk.
To help keep everyone safe, please avoid visiting if you have:
- diarrhoea
- sickness or vomiting
- flu
- a cold
- COVID-19
- a chest infection
You can still show you care by sending a message, making a call, or visiting once you’re feeling well again. Thank you for helping us protect our patients and support their recovery.
