What amazing feedback from our Social Photography Walks in Orton, Welland, Paston and Dogsthorpe areas! 📸💚

These walks were provided as an addition to our Pride in Place workshops in Orton, with our local Community Clickers photography group taking the walks into four Peterborough neighbourhoods: Orton, Welland, Paston and Dogsthorpe!

🌍Hopscotch Around the World — what a fantastic way to finish our Arts & Play Workshops!🌍

Today at Orton Wistow Community Centre families came together for our Hopscotch Around the World session.

We explored how a simple game like hopscotch appears in different cultures around the world, reminding us that although we may have different languages, backgrounds and traditions,play is something that connects us all. There was plenty of drawing, designing, jumping, laughter and teamwork.

This was also our final Arts & Play workshop, following our Glass Painting, Pebble Painting and Tissue Paper Collage sessions. Across the programme we've seen creativity bring people together, new conversations begin and families enjoy quality time side by side.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the four workshops and helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 💕

And a special thank you to : Art Lead Dee Trajdos for leading all the art workshops, Gurdeep Kaur for leading today's Hopscotch Around the World session and bringing this wonderful idea to life and amazing volunteers Simon Waters and Dawid Trajdos 🌍👏

Today our Arts & Play Workshops continued with Tissue Paper Collages, and what a colourful session it was! 💚💙💛

Big and small got stuck in, tearing, sticking and experimenting with tissue paper to create their own imaginative artwork. It was fantastic to see so many different ideas taking shape and families creating, chatting, laughing and spending quality time together. 🌈

Thank you to everyone who joined us today and brought so much enthusiasm and imagination! 💕
