Denis’ update from Denmark (and what an update it is): “Heading home after an incredible 3 days… great Danish hosts and €75,000 raised for 450 bikes.”

That’s Rotary at its best — 200+ Fellowship groups pulling together to create real, practical impact through World Bicycle Relief. Congratulations to everyone who rode, organised, donated, and supported.

Do you know someone who took part in Cycle to Serve (or supported from the sidelines)? Tag them below so we can celebrate them too — and please join us in congratulating Denis and all the riders for an outstanding effort.

The GREAT great progress so far!

Denis has completed another 90km today as part of the Cycle to Serve challenge across Denmark. Alongside 250 fellow Rotarians, he is helping raise €60,000 for World Bicycle Relief and their life-changing Buffalo Bikes programme.

These specially designed bikes provide reliable transport for people in rural communities, helping children get to school, healthcare workers reach patients, and families access opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.

After proudly delivering our club banner at the start of the event, Denis is now well on his way through this incredible four-day challenge. Wishing him safe travels, favourable weather, and plenty of energy for the miles still ahead.

Keep going, Denis – we’re all behind you!

A huge well done to one of our fellow Rotarians who has travelled the length of Denmark to join 250 participants in the Cycle to Serve fundraiser.

The event supports Buffalo Bikes, helping provide reliable transport to people who need it most, improving access to education, healthcare and employment.

After a long day of travelling, Dennis said he was proud to represent our club by handing over our banner before getting ready for tomorrow’s 90km cycle ride.

What an incredible example of commitment, service and international friendship in action. We wish everyone taking part the very best of luck and look forward to hearing how the ride goes!

Celebrating Leadership Excellence at District Conference

Proud moment for the Rotary E-Club of Southern Scotland! Our President Chad Campbell is sharing the success of our E-Rotary Youth Leadership Programme at the District 1320 Conference.

This virtual initiative connected Rotarian industry leaders with emerging professionals from across Europe, Africa, the UK, and Australia—fostering mentorship, ethical leadership development, and meaningful cross-border connections.

Participants gained invaluable skills in navigating workplace change, building confidence, and developing international networks. The impact has been remarkable, and we're thrilled with what our mentors and participants achieved together.

Ready to be part of the next cohort? If you're interested in joining our upcoming leadership programme—whether as a mentor or participant—we'd love to hear from you! Message us on this page or get in touch through our website to express your interest.

Here's to building the next generation of changemakers. 🌍
