Back in action once again!

Two out of three Majors for the year done, and the fun’s only just getting started this season.

Northamptons took the field last weekend in Colchester alongside The Sealed Knot Society Official

An absolute scorcher of a weekend — temperatures running as hot as the muskets, but Northamptons and our comrades in Wilmott’s Brigade took to the field bravely and stood firm against the heat.

Great to see so many friends old and new. Thank you to all who came out to support — friend and foe alike.

One week departed and what a time we had at the first major of the year at Deane park with the The Sealed Knot Society Official!

Northamptons took to the field with faces old and new and took against our dastardly parliamentarian foes!

Big thanks to all involved and all those who came to spectate!

While the fun and games at Deane park sadly have come to an end we have much more to look forward to! Our next event is at the Colchester Living History Festival on the late May bank holiday! If you missed us there why not come and have a watch there!

In the coming weeks Northamptons gets ready to kick the season off and take the field over both May bank holidays!

With our comrades and foes of The Sealed Knot Society Official Northamptons will take the field at both Deene Park in Corby and at the Colchester Living History Festival!

Two of our biggest events of the year and most importantly! A great place for you to get stuck in if you’re interested!

We are putting the call to you! If you are interested in what we do and want to give it a go for the first time shoot us a message on here! Sealed knot majors are relaxed and the perfect place to give it a go!

Regardless! If it’s on the field or on the sideline! We hope to see you there!

Northampton’s is happy to announce the joining of a new member!

Northampton’s usually take the field as a “dragoon” unit, Historically skirmishers who would dart across the field from point to point on horses back to be in the thick of the fighting as they need be!

To expand our impression of this daring role I am happy to announce the joining of our newest member Hobbs. E. Horse!

Hobbs is a long tenured reenactor since 1817! and brings a wealth of experience as a horse to this dragoon unit! Some could even say he was made for this sorta thing!

Women make up a incredible large part of the ranks of both the The Sealed Knot Society Official and our regiment, In both fighting and civilian roles they are present and a integral part of our reenactment society and provide great help both on and off the field!
