Cheshire Roses Group

Cheshire Roses Group We are a cancer support group offering emotional and pastoral support for women affected by cancer in the Cheshire area and beyond. You are not alone.

We meet the first Tuesday of the month. Each month we invite guests such as health professionals, holistic therapists, workshops or someone offering advice to help us through the cancer journey. There’ll be plenty of time to chat among ourselves and offer support to each other. It will be a chance to make friends, relax and have a little fun too!

Enhertu is a drug that could extend thousands of lives. But it was rejected for use on the NHS in 2024 for being too expensive. Since then, thousands of people have missed out on the drug. And many have died. Robbed of the extra time it could have given them.

We now have a chance to stop anybody else missing out. But we need to act quickly, because the people who need this drug don’t have time to wait.

That's why, alongside METUP UK and Make 2nds Count we’re calling on Daiichi Sankyo, AstraZeneca, NHS England and NICE to urgently reach a deal to make Enhertu available on the NHS.

Secondary Breast Cancer group in Macclesfield

We know a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer can mean adjusting to difficult changes in your life, and sometimes it can help to talk with other people in a similar situation. Our Living with Secondary Breast Cancer groups give you the chance to do just that, in a relaxed and supportive environment. Details for our Macclesfield group:

Where: Macclesfield, close to Cumberland Street (we’ll share the exact location when you sign up)

When: Usually the second Thursday of each month
Time: 11am to 1/1.30pm

Who: Around 5 to 15 other people living with secondary breast cancer and an experienced counsellor will be there to welcome you and facilitate.
