Had a great day today at Bike4Life. Lots of new connections made for our Dr Steven Lee Foundation and hopefully three new students to come through our training programme.
Loved to see Shropshire Advanced Motorcyclists have now added our logo to their livery as an official partner 😊

For the 2026 Fundraising activity my wife, Joanne, and I will be embarking on a 25k trail run.

I am not a runner, I very much dislike running, but as you know, this cause is very close to our hearts and so we will be taking on the Manchester Trail Escape 2026.

It’s a 25km trail run through the Peak District National Park and takes place on the 27th June 2026

This will be the longest we have ever run, and already in training we are running farther than I have ran in the past 15 years. So it is no mean feat.

If you can please share a few pounds please donate. The default is £1 but you can adjust the quantity to as many as you can afford

Great day yesterday with California Superbike School UK hosting two students through their Road Training day.
Adam has now become the third of our students to complete both IAM RoadSmart training as well as the CSS day to make him a safer rider.
Jim was a kind sponsor having won his place at our charity auction last year.
Looking forward to our next event in a few months time.

It has been a while since I have posted on here but rest assured we have been busy in the background and have some very exciting updates to share.

First, recently we awarded our first IAM voucher of 2026 to the lovely Carl Jackson. Carl was referred to us through a new training school that we partnered with last year, Marches Motorcycle Training. We look forward to seeing Carl's progress.

Next, as part of reserving Carl his spot on the IAM RoadSmart course we have now expanded our partnership to IAM Shropshire. There are a lot of synergies between our organisations and I am really looking forward to some of the events we have agreed to attend together to promote rider safety with a focus on riders under 30.

Finally, and really excitingly, I heard today that Sally Williams, who we first awarded a course to in April 2025, has passed her IAM qualification with a FIRST!!!! Sally was also one of the first to complete our additional training with California Superbike School UK so is now a fully rounded and advanced motorcyclist.

Watch this space for more updates l;ater this month as we put two more riders through the CSS training.

Thanks

Last weekend we were lucky to be the co-beneficiary of a charity fundraising event in our local village pub.
The event involved a raffle of prizes donated by local businesses and an auction of some fantastic prizes ranging from weekends away, to home chef experiences to a California Superbike School UK Road Training day. The event organiser even donated his ponytail to Little Princess Trust.

I AM OVER THE MOON TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE RAISED A TOTAL OF £6,012!!!!

This money will be divided equally by Dr Steven Lee Foundation and NW Air Ambulance.

With our share and the funds already raised this year we now have enough money to pay for 8-10 young riders to complete both advanced training courses next year.

Huge thanks to all involved. Some pictures of the night are here.

This weekend we will be climbing Snowdon in the hope of raising money for our little non-profit.

Ahead of this I have prepared the following video which will explain what we are doing and why. The video is a backdrop to a recent interview I did for BBC Radio Stoke where I discussed my brother, explained about the charity and what we are trying to acheive.

Please could you spare a few minutes to listen and learn? You will see pictures of Steven as well as some of the many young people we have supported.

And lastly, if you could spare a few pounds please make a donation through this link.

TO ALL THAT ARE PLANNING TO JOIN US FOR THE SNOWDON CLIMB ON SUNDAY 3rd AUGUST

❗️PLAN - we will park in Llanberis, get on the sherpa bus to "pen y pass" and we'll go up the pyg track and down the Llanberis back to the car.

PLEASE NOTE THE SHERPA BUS LEAVES AT 9:25 SO BE SURE TO LEAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO CATCH IT

❗️Please put “Snowdon Mountain Railway" in the sat nav the big carpark where we’ll meet is directly opposite it.

❗️If we can all meet at 09:00 at this car park and we will all get the bus together

❗️The car park is £12 for the day - please car share where possible

❗️The Sherpa Bus is £3 adults, $2.70 for children

❗️Dogs, kids everyone is welcome. Please remember to pack for all weathers. Just because it is sunny at the bottom is doesn’t mean it won’t be snowing at the top.

❗️Walking boots/shoes are a must as the ground can be loose underfoot. I would also recommend bringing spare socks and a hat.

❗️There are toilets at the base at the Pen-Y-Pass visitor centre and also at the café at the top of the mountain.

If you are able to make a donation to the Foundation please do so via this link and please share with your network to raise funds

Please comment below if you are coming so we can make sure we’ve got everyone before we catch the bus!

On 12th July we will be joined by members of Crossfit Whitchurch gym to climb Snowdon in the hope of raising funds to put one or more riders through the training. This will be our second year making the climb and promises to be a great day once again.
