These last couple of weeks have been some of the hardest we have ever faced. Sitting through the trial and hearing every detail was heartbreaking, but today the jury returned a unanimous GUILTY verdict. Nothing will ever bring Steven Lee back or take away the pain of losing him, but knowing that the person responsible has finally been held accountable brings a sense of justice that we have waited almost four years for.

I have never been prouder of my family. We stood together every single day, supporting one another through something no family should ever have to endure. Steven would have been so proud of the strength, love and unity we have shown for him.

To everyone who has messaged us, checked in, sent flowers, offered a hug, said a prayer or simply kept us in your thoughts—thank you. Your kindness has carried us through some incredibly dark moments, and we will never forget it.

We are also so grateful to everyone involved in bringing this case to justice. Their professionalism, compassion and determination have meant so much to us.

Steven wasn’t just my little brother—he was an incredible son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin , partner and friend. He had the biggest heart, the brightest smile, and a future that should never have been taken from him. He is loved beyond words and missed every single day.

Today was about justice.

Every day will always be about love.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Steven. 💙

Yesterday was another milestone day for Dr Steven Lee Foundation .
We branched out into providing training for our first car driver.

Jordan Henderson passed his driving test a couple of weeks ago and we are over the moon to be able to offer the opportunity to progress to advanced driver status. Ultimately keeping safe on the roads and reducing his insurance once he has passed.

Please wish him well in his training.

This week we awarded two new young riders with their IAM vouchers and setting them on the road to being safer riders.
Luke and Ben are brothers from Shropshire, both passed their tests in February and will be starting the IAM RoadSmart course in the next few weeks.
Once started we will also get them booked onto a road skills day with California Superbike School UK .

Had a great day today at Bike4Life. Lots of new connections made for our Dr Steven Lee Foundation and hopefully three new students to come through our training programme.
Loved to see Shropshire Advanced Motorcyclists have now added our logo to their livery as an official partner 😊

For the 2026 Fundraising activity my wife, Joanne, and I will be embarking on a 25k trail run.

I am not a runner, I very much dislike running, but as you know, this cause is very close to our hearts and so we will be taking on the Manchester Trail Escape 2026.

It’s a 25km trail run through the Peak District National Park and takes place on the 27th June 2026

This will be the longest we have ever run, and already in training we are running farther than I have ran in the past 15 years. So it is no mean feat.

Great day yesterday with California Superbike School UK hosting two students through their Road Training day.
Adam has now become the third of our students to complete both IAM RoadSmart training as well as the CSS day to make him a safer rider.
Jim was a kind sponsor having won his place at our charity auction last year.
Looking forward to our next event in a few months time.

It has been a while since I have posted on here but rest assured we have been busy in the background and have some very exciting updates to share.

First, recently we awarded our first IAM voucher of 2026 to the lovely Carl Jackson. Carl was referred to us through a new training school that we partnered with last year, Marches Motorcycle Training. We look forward to seeing Carl's progress.

Next, as part of reserving Carl his spot on the IAM RoadSmart course we have now expanded our partnership to IAM Shropshire. There are a lot of synergies between our organisations and I am really looking forward to some of the events we have agreed to attend together to promote rider safety with a focus on riders under 30.

Finally, and really excitingly, I heard today that Sally Williams, who we first awarded a course to in April 2025, has passed her IAM qualification with a FIRST!!!! Sally was also one of the first to complete our additional training with California Superbike School UK so is now a fully rounded and advanced motorcyclist.

Watch this space for more updates l;ater this month as we put two more riders through the CSS training.
