🐹 Guinea Pig Rescue Update! 🐹
Today we’ve been busy setting up the guinea pigs’ brooding enclosures for the piggies we recently rescued. Everything was going smoothly until we discovered that one of the “five females” is actually a male… 🤦😂
Meanwhile, Flint the Citron-Crested Cockatoo was outside keeping a close eye on everything and supervising the setup from a safe distance! 🦜
As a result, we are expecting around 15 baby guinea pigs who will eventually be looking for their forever homes. ❤️
When the time comes, we would ideally like them to go to homes that currently have guinea pigs or have previous experience with them. Guinea pigs are very social animals, so we will not be rehoming them on their own – they must go in pairs or larger groups (2+).
We will be asking for a minimum donation of £15 per guinea pig. Every penny raised will go straight back into the rescue to help provide food, bedding, housing, veterinary care, toys, and support for all of our animals.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support us. Your donations and encouragement help us give these animals the second chance they deserve. ❤️
