Snapshots of a week of delivering Meals across MK.

YOWSERS! That's been a big delivery week! Thank you to everyone who helped this week: whether by giving regularly, volunteering in the warehouse, packing boxes, delivering, collecting harvest donations or working in a school or family centre where the Half Term Bags were delivered and given directly to children...it does not happen without you!

A huge harvest THANK YOU for all the generous donations made at harvest festival events this month. High Fives to the children at Cold Harbour School and Loughton School , as well as the people of all ages at and - also, great job to the volunteers in the warehouse who sorted and stacked the tins in record time!

A game changing email arrives at Meals HQ...

Making the most of the autumn sunshine, the team is out and about again this week, delivering Meals Boxes to schools all around the city.
Thanks to you, hungry children are going to get a delicious meal even though there is no food in the cupboards.

If you are able to join the team, all donations make a massive difference. Hit the website and donate whatever you are able. Thank you!

Each week we deliver hundreds of meals to schools across MK, who ensure that children who are experiencing crisis, hunger, poverty or emergency are at least able to eat a good dinner. This is all made possible by brilliant people like you who donate generously. Thank you!

Someone very kindly gave the team a box of Celebrations last week. It turns out we are not big fans of Milky Way chocolates...who knew?!
Obviously the Malteaser ones went first...what sweet gets left till last in your house?

Maltesers UK - you're our fav. Wink Wink.

A mixed bag again this morning. Once again Paul has let himself down with the photos...BUT...once again a van load of Meals Boxes have been delivered to schools in MK where we met some AMAZING teachers and support staff who are caring for children and families with incredible levels of enthusiasm, dedication and commitment.

Thanks for supporting us. If you fancy making a donation of any size you can do so at www.stmarksmk.com/meals where your donation will make a huge difference.

This week, several children will have eaten dinner thanks to amazing people like Jane who donate to us so that we can provide Meals Boxes directly to families through schools and Family Centres.
Jane donated recently (Thank you!) and left this little encouraging note on her donation (Thank you again!)

Good news is that we fully intend to keep doing what we do. If you fancy being as amazing as Jane, then please donate now so that a child in MK can go to bed with a full tummy rather than an empty one.

September is rolling, and so are we!

The van is out this morning for the first deliveries to schools this term, providing delicious meals to children who would otherwise not be getting dinner.
IN FACT, we have had so many orders already, that the team are doubling up to deliver to as many schools as possible today.

If you are able to support us with a Back to School donation to provide dinner to an MK Family, you can do so at www.stmarksmk.com/meals

Thank You!
