Outdoor gym coming to Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park.

Get Fit at Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park!

The Friends of Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council are delighted to announce the pending installation of outdoor gym equipment at Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park. The project, funded by Enovert Community Trust will include cardio and strength training equipment including an inclusive multi-gym from Sunshine Gym.

The gym will replace the trim track which used to be in place at the park, but now the equipment will be grouped together to provide a more social experience.

The project will commence in the coming weeks, and we look forward to welcoming you for summer workout sessions!

Right turns are banned onto A174 and from A174 (left turns only on and off slip roads). A172 U-turns are banned for 300m either side of the bridge works. A174 overnight lane closures for works underneath the bridge. Diversions are in place during the works.

Refurbishment of Guisborough Library

❗️𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 - 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲❗️

Guisborough Library will be closing to allow work to start on a full refurbishment.

The library will be closed from 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 and will reopen 𝗺𝗶𝗱/𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

One week to go to the Kite Festival

🪁🚌PARK & RIDE INFORMATION FOR REDCAR KITE FESTIVAL 🚌🪁
Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 June.

The park and ride will run from Kirkleatham show field. Enter from Kirkleatham Lane (A1042) and follow the signs to the show field. Parking is free.
From here the buses will run direct to Majuba Road, dropping off and picking people up right on site.

Parking at the show field is free. Tickets need to be purchased from the ticket desk in the car park before boarding the bus. Tickets can be paid for by both cash and card payments.

Ticket prices are:

Adults Return - £3.00
Under 16s Return - £1.00
Under 3 years old- Free

Buses will run from 11.45am to 6.30pm in a constant loop between Kirkleatham and the site and we have tripled the number of buses from last years provisions.

While the buses are coaches, wheelchair and access provisions are in place with ramp access to a range of buses available.

We ask that prams are folded up to speed up the loading process.
