Well today we got the opportunity to tour one of the fleets Type 45 Destroyer - HMS Duncan whilst she was alongside in Dundee.

The cadets got split into 2 groups and got a tour of various departments of the ship including the bridge, Ops Room, Quarterdeck and Flight deck to the Wildcat Helicopter and Drone.

The crew were very informative and spent time sharing lots of information and answering questions.

Many thanks to the CO, EWO and the crew also the Sub Lt Ross - CO TS Duncan, Dundee Sea Cadets for organising the tour.

Well we can now share that our ships visit this weekend will be to HMS Duncan who was captured sailing up the Tay this morning!

Those cadets attending must be at the unit Sunday 14th 0830 in PCS, MTP or Junior Uniform with berets.

JUNIORS ONLY

We have an opportunity for a ships visit this coming Sunday 14th June - appreciate it’s short notice but only just been informed.

Priority will be for juniors who missed out on the last visit. If any Juniors are available this Sunday 0830 at the unit in uniform please let me know ASAP so we can get a nominal role and offer any spaces to Senior cadets and RMC.
