Our groups are running this Monday 7-9pm for any man 18+. 👌

There's no booking, no fees and no registration needed. Just turn up.

5 ways to look after yourself and your mates this Pride 🌈
Eat and drink water – Dehydration and low blood sugar will wreck your day faster than you'd think.
Stay together – If someone goes quiet, go find them. Try to stay together.
Reducing harm? – Using drugs? Do it as safely as possible. Check the comments for helpful advice.
Charge your phone - Signal drops, plans change. A working phone is the key to your safety.
Check in - A quick "you good?" goes a long way.
Make it a Pride to remember.

We were highly commended at the SCVO Scottish Charity Awards tonight.
This came after being shortlisted as one of three finalists for Large Charity of the Year from a total of more than 350 charities across Scotland.
We're so proud of every person in our team whose hard work was behind this recognition. And we're also proud of everyone who has come to us for support. It takes courage to ask for help, and you inspire everything we do.
Congratulations to all the winners and finalists.

Service Spotlight: Befriending Service "I enjoyed talking to her and it helped me to build my confidence”

Did you know that Fife Women's Aid offer a befriending service where volunteer befrienders provide regular visits allowing women the opportunity for interaction and a chance to talk.

They also encourage and support women to get out of their home, attend appointments and engage with activities in the local community. This supports mental and physical health and helps to build confidence.

Tonight the night, very excited to be representing WithYou in Fife at this amazing awards ceremony 🎉🎉🎉

We have some exciting news to share.
WithYou in Scotland has been named a finalist for Scottish Charity of the Year at the SCVO Scottish Charity Awards. 🏆
This nomination belongs to every person who's reached out to one of our services.
Nobody should feel ashamed for seeking support with drugs, alcohol or mental health. Awards like this help show that asking for help takes courage and is something to be proud of.
It also belongs to all our staff and volunteers who show up for the people they support, each and every day. And it's a reminder that the services standing alongside them are worth celebrating. 💙

Words carry weight. The language we use around drugs and alcohol can either open doors, or close them.
Labelling people as "addicts", "junkies", or "drunks" reinforces shame and stigma. It can stop someone from reaching out for the support they deserve.
We believe in a person-centred approach: one that sees the whole person, not just their challenges. Because drug and alcohol challenges are something a person experiences. Not something they are.
