FYI Lundin Links Hotel Site. Care Home Consultation

Monday 8th June. 7.00- 9.00pm. Durham Hall

The developer of the 60 bedroom Care Home development is having a public consultation to describe their proposals and to take questions from the public on the details of the project.

This is your chance to make your voice heard ahead of their detailed planning application.

There are many questions regarding any development on this important site. These are just some of them:

* Is the building of sufficient quality on this very important site in the village?
* Are the proposed materials in keeping with the village?
* Is there sufficient car parking on the site to avoid parking spreading to adjacent streets?
* Is the water supply in the village sufficient for this scale of project?
* Is the sewage capacity sufficient?
* How will refuse vehicles service the site?
* Is a care home the right solution?

The Largo Blue Space Festival is THIS WEEKEND, 6 and 7 June, at the Aurrie Mor, Lower Largo.

After many months of careful planning, the brilliant people of Friends of Largo Bay are bringing the conservation work happening right on our doorstep into sharp focus.

Across the weekend, expect citizen science, creative workshops, demonstrations, talks and Q&As, sea shanties, and film screenings. There's plenty for nature lovers of all ages, from making a felted starfish to playing nature detective in the rock pools.

The Sea Shanty Workshop with Joss Cameron, the Otter Ecology Walk with Lutra Grampia, the Largo Bay Community Triptych, our film screenings, and the Coastal Testimonies exhibition are all part of the weekend. Some events are ticketed and have been selling fast.

Parking is limited, so walk or catch the bus if you can. There are car parks at Station Park and The Temple.
