📢 Have Your Say on the Future of Poppyview Family Centre
Local charity Arden House is inviting the community to a consultation event on Thursday 22 October, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Together Levenmouth Hub, Leven High Street.
For almost 50 years, Arden House has supported older and vulnerable people across Levenmouth. With services now at full capacity and a growing waiting list, the organisation is seeking to expand by taking over the former Poppyview Family Centre through a Community Asset Transfer.

This drop-in event is an opportunity to learn more about the proposal and share your views on how the building could benefit the local community.

Brag delivered an Effective Applications workshop at Cupar Job Centre today – was nice to have staff from the job centre attend, along with a representative from Wendy Chamberlain’s office who was interested to see what support is available in the area for job seekers!

Last week, Claire delivered an interview workshop for clients who attend BRAG. The session took place at our Crosshill Office although clients were welcome from across Fife.

Claire focused on building confidence, preparing for interviews, understanding what employers look for, and developing practical interview skills.

It was great to see everyone getting involved and taking positive steps towards their employment goals! 🙌

Last week, Claire & Craig attended a job fayre run by Cowdenbeath Job Centre on behalf of BRAG, where they spoke to people about the employability support we offer.
They explained how we can help individuals with things such as finding work, improving their CVs, preparing for interviews and overcoming any barriers they may be facing.
They also spoke to different employers and organisations to help build connections and raise awareness of the support BRAG provides.

🌟 Interview Skills Workshop 🌟

Seven participants from the Bright Futures Programme recently took part in an engaging interview skills session delivered by Craig and Lynne from BRAG.

During the workshop, participants explored:
✅ Interview expectations
✅ Interview preparation techniques
✅ Common interview questions
✅ Questions to ask employers during an interview

The session provided practical advice and guidance to help participants build confidence and prepare for future employment opportunities.

📢 Great to see 18 colleagues from the six charities that make up Fife-ETC coming together within the new events space, the Links at the Together Levenmouth Hub and Events!

The session was packed with collaboration, as partners discussed a new reporting system, shared best practice, and exchanged updates on the employability programmes, workshops, and training opportunities available across Fife.

Working together helps us provide a more connected, person-centred service, ensuring people across Fife can access the support they need to achieve their goals.
