All of the rainbows, brownies and guides had a night at silverburn park tonight to celebrate our district. (Methil, Kennoway & Leven) After the summer holidays we will be part of a larger group called Central Division which includes units from the Glenrothes area too!

We can’t wait to meet all our new friends!

We had pizza and chips followed by s’mores and did different stations which allowed us to gain the up in the air badge.

A massive thank you to Mark from Kettle Produce for visiting Kennoway rainbows tonight! The girls have been working on the Fruit and Veg badge at home and learning about healthy eating for our theme this term.

The girls had lots of questions and enjoyed sampling lots of different vegetables and learning about how to tell if something is a fruit or vegetable by its seeds.
As you can see from their faces they were delighted to be allowed to take some home with them too! Thanks Mark! 👏🏻

1st Kennoway rainbows enjoyed a trip to Anstruther lifeboat station tonight. We have been working on the purple theme award this term. The girls were particularly interested in the “people who help us” part of the badge so we have learned about all the emergency services including beach lifeguards, and the coastguard.

The girls also raised an amazing £210 at a duck race that we held at Letham Glen recently. We handed it over the guys at the lifeboat station tonight ⚓️🛥️🛟🏊🏻‍♀️ 🦆 🏁

Super busy weekend for everyone in Levenmouth.

1st Kennoway Rainbows, 2nd Kennoway Brownies and 1st Methil guides took part in the Community festival of remembrance on Friday evening.

1st Kennoway Rainbows and 2nd Kennoway Brownies took part in the Remembrance Sunday parade at Kennoway.

2nd Leven Brownies joined the Remembrance Sunday parade at Leven and 1st Methil Guides joined the Methil parade.

Methil guides also took part in the community beacon lighting ceremony on Sunday evening too.
