Happy sunny Bank holiday! 🌞

We are closed today for the bank holiday but back open on Tuesday with TWO group sessions.

Connections cafe is on in All Saints Church Hall from 10.00
AND
Bereavement support group is in the afternoon from 1.30pm - if its your first time to come along, this is such a warm, friendly group, with people who really understand what you are going through.

All other services are by appointment only.

This workshop is currently only for patients.

CONNECTIONS CAFE UPDATE!!!

Due to plumbing issues ALL Saints Church Hall is closed tomorrow so coffee morning is back in the centre for this week only.

The biggest thank you to Maria Price for her incredible fundraising efforts over 2 days raising awareness of bowel cancer, giving out hundreds of red bows each day, and collecting vital funds for Cancer Aid Merthyr Tydfil. Over the two days £1650.31 was raised by Maria and the wonderful people of Merthyr Tydfil who gave so generously.

Every penny raised in Merthyr Tydfil is used to support people diagnosed with cancer living in our borough. The support provides vital services such as hospital transport, counselling, complementary therapy, hair loss support, group support. Anyone affected by Cancer, as a patient, carer, or families requiring bereavement support can access these services.

Thank you so much Maria for your incredible efforts once again, and thank you to everyone who donated! Diolch. ✨

It’s Saturday and the incredible Maria is back in Tesco Merthyr Tydfil raising awareness of bowel cancer and raising funds for Cancer Aid Merthyr Tydfil.
Thank you to the hundreds of people who stopped yesterday, donated and picked up their red bows from Maria!

Due to technical difficulties the card machine is out of order this morning but cash is gratefully accepted! Even the smallest coins added together make a BIG difference to supporting local people.

Are you looking for your next volunteer role?
Volunteers are at the heart of what we do.
We are currently seeking volunteer drivers to take patients to all hospitals across South Wales. The role is completely flexible around you, you tell us your availability each week, and we match you with suitable journeys.

Mileage is covered at 45p per mile.
DBS is required for this role, and you will receive training and support from the team, and your fellow volunteer drivers.
Kindness, understanding of confidentiality and a willingness to help others is essential for this role.
